ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 04.02.2016 made to the first and second respondents herein and pass orders in accordance with law.

2.Even though the matter was adjourned to 04.03.2016 on 22.02.2016, on mentioning before this Court it is posted today. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband one Nagarajan @ Koola Nagarajan is a life convict bearing life convict no.2330 and they are having a daughter by name Narthika and she is now aged about 21 years. So the petitioner's husband wants leave for one month to make arrangements for their daughter's marriage. Hence, the petitioner made representation to the respondents, but it has not been considered so far. Hence, this petition. 4.At this juncture, Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the representation dated 04.02.2016 given by the petitioner was received by the respondents on 18.02.2016 and it is under consideration and would further submit that they will consider the matter in accordance with law.

5.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respective learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submissions made on either side and considering the fact that the petitioner's husband one Nagarajan @ Koola Nagarajan is a life convict bearing life convict no.2330 and he has to make arrangement for their daughter's marriage and also the fact that the representation dated 04.02.2016 given by the petitioner was received by the respondents on 18.02.2016 and it is under consideration, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation dated 04.02.2016 given by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
