Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent so far as the appointment of the second respondent to the post of Assistant Commercial Tax Officer as informed to the petitioner vide the information furnished by the first respondent herein vide letter dated 01.02.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to appoint the petitioner to the post of Assistant Commercial Tax Officer pursuant to the direct recruitment conducted by the first respondent during the year 2014.
