PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to withdraw the case in Cr.No.207 of 2017 pending on the file of the Sendurai Police and to transfer the same to any other competent police within the district and to investigation the same in accordance with law. ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to direct the respondents to withdraw the case in Cr.No.207 of 2017 pending on the file of the Sendurai Police and to transfer the same to any other competent police.

2. In earlier, this petition was listed for admission on 08.08.2017. At request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it was adjourned to 11.08.2017. Again on 11.08.2017, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought further accommodation, hence, once again this matter was adjourned to 01.09.2017. Thereafter, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not take any steps to list the matter even for admission. Therefore, it is pending for the past 3 years without even admitting the case. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, it shows that the petitioner is not interested to proceed the matter further.

3. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
