O R D E R
The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of the proceedings in O.S.No.176 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge at Ambur.
2. When the matter came up for admission on 14.10.2024, I called for a report from the learned Subordinate Judge at Ambur. The learned Subordinate Judge has sent a report stating that originally the suit was filed before the Subordinate Court at Vaniyambadi and the same was taken on file in O.S.No.275 of 2020. Issues were framed on 06.03.2021 and posted for trial on 31.03.2021. Thereafter, the suit was transferred to the newly constituted Subordinate Court at Ambur, Tirupathur District and re-numbered as O.S.No.176 of 2023. Now the suit has been posted on 11.11.2024 for filing counter and for disposal. The learned Judge further states that 235 five year old cases are pending before her and hence, she requests nine months time to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.176 of 2023.
3. Considering the report of the learned trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge at Ambur to dispose of the suit 2/4
in O.S.No.176 of 2023 within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
