By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct third respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 05.06.2022.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner submitted representation dated 05.06.2022, before third respondent for mutation of patta in his name in respect of the subject property comprised in Survey Nos.1203B/6A and 1203B/6B measuring an

extent of 0.54 cents 0.22.0 Ares situated at Kalambur Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. However petitioner's representation was not considered by third respondent till date. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has come before this Court.

4. At the outset, it was submitted by learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that petitioner has not taken out any online application for mutation of patta. If the petitioner takes out online application and pays the necessary fee, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5. In view of the limited relief that is prayed, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with following directions: i) There shall be a direction to petitioner to submit online

application to concerned respondent and pay necessary fee for mutation of patta within a period of eight weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy.

ii) On receipt of such payment, the concerned respondent shall consider the application and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested parties including rival claimants, if any.

iii) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. Rights and contentions

of petitioners and all other interested parties are left open.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
