W.P.No.6308 of 2016 is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue "Adi Dravida Bunty Community Certificate" to the petitioner's minor daughter, Minor V.Shaambavi.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. It appears that in connection with the issuance of "Adi Dravida Bunty Community Certificates", relying upon the certificates issued by the revenue authorities in favour of the petitioners, they have applied to the Tahsildar, Thiruvannamalai, the second respondent seeking for issuance of such certificates to the children of the petitioners, namely, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Minor G.Prasanth, Minor G.Jaswanth and Minor V.Shaambavi respectively.

Since the said applications are pending consideration before the second respondent authority, they have approached this Court seeking for a direction to the second respondent to do the needful in this regard.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, we direct the Tahsildar, Thiruvannamalai, the second respondent herein to consider the applications of the petitioners for issuance of "Adi Dravida Bunty Community Certificates" to the children of the petitioners, namely, Minor G.Prasanth, Minor G.Jaswanth and Minor V.Shaambavi respectively, as per the directions issued by the District Collector, Thiruvannamalai, the first respondent in this regard and after holding enquiry, and do the needful within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the petitioners. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
