Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to issue notification of list of recognized Diploma Level Teacher Training Institutes by including the petitioner institute namely Matha Teacher Training Institute, Vaanpuram, Annavasal Road, Manamadurai, Sivagangai District for the academic year 2004-2005 as per the recognition order issued by the second respondent dated 22.06.2004 in F.TNN/1070/SRO/NCTE/2004-05/4018 on par with other similarly recognized institutions for the purpose of admission of students. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that since the relief sought for herein is related to the Academic Year 20042005, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.
