ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandumus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 04.09.2023 to measure the land situated in S.F.No.344/1B, 344/2A, 346/1A2, 346/1B1 measuring 5700 Sq.Ft., Pannandhur Village, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District and earmark the boundaries.

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had made an application on 04.09.2023 before the 1st respondent for measuring the land situated in S.F.No.344/1B, 344/2A, 346/1A2, 346/1B1 measuring 5700 Sq.Ft., Pannandhur Village, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District and earmark the boundaries and he had also paid a sum of Rs.3,200/- through echallan. However, there is no communication from the respondents as to whether the petitioner's land would be surveyed or not; if not what is the reason; if yes, when it is likely to be measured. Hence, the present writ petition is filed seeking appropriate direction.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned 2/4
Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the records.

In the light of the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.09.2023 if it is otherwise in order and survey his land as per seniority and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of hearing to all the owners of adjacent lands and interested parties/rival claims if any, as expeditiously as possible provided within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 06.10.2023 ksa-2 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No 3/4
