ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner wherein, the petitioner is seeking for correction of the date of birth in the Birth Certificate as 29.12.2001 instead of 29.01.2002. 2.Heard Mr.Jayaramachandran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, it is seen that in every other record, date of birth of the petitioner has been mentioned as 29.12.2001, except the Birth Certificate where it has been mentioned as 29.01.2002. The petitioner submitted

3/5 the application for correcting this discrepancy and for issuance of a fresh Birth Certificate. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 10.07.2025 and carry out the necessary corrections in the Birth Certificate and issue the fresh Birth Certificate to the petitioner. This process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
