Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner with regard to inclusion of petitioner's name in joint patta comprised in Survey No.507/1 to an extend of 15.43 acres situated at Veerapandi Village, Tiruppur Taluk and District and dispose the same within a stipulated period.

ORDER

The writ petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the 1st respondent/The District Revenue Officer to dispose the appeal filed by him and inclusion of his name in the joint patta comprised in Survey No.507/1 admeasuring 15.43 acres at Veerapandi Village, Tiruppur Taluk and District.

2. Mr.Akhil Akbar Ali, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Official respondents, concurs that the appeal has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

filed on 16.10.2017, referring to letter dated 30.10.2017 from the Authority in this regard.

3. In the light of the above admitted position, it would suffice that a direction be issued to the District Revenue Officer, Tiruppur District to dispose of the appeal within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the petitioner as well as other interested parties, including R4 and R5, and pass a speaking order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
