This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Erode to the CBCID, Erode, Erode District or any other competent investigating agency for proper investigation and report.

3.This petition has been filed for transfer of investigation in Crime No.21 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 of IPC is pending for the period of three years, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation as the transferring would affect the investigation. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2016 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
