(1P) No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department dated 19.08.2015, passed by the first respondent within a time limit that may be specified by this Court.

The petitioner, P.Jaganathan, who was appointed as Junior Assistant on 16.07.2007 and promoted as Assistant on 15.09.2014, has given a detailed representation to the second respondent on 09.12.2015 seeking to set right the anomaly and confer his promotion on par with his junior V.Murugesan. representation has been forwarded by the third respondent to the second respondent, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Therefore, he has come to this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
