Pandiyan ..Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2020 and 08.02.2021 in the light of O.Mu.921/2021/Uu3 dated 14.06.2021 and Na.Ka.5872/2021/Uu3 dated 28.09.2021 within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court and pass orders. O R D E R

By the consent of both the parties this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the 3rd and 4th respondents are having lands adjacent to the petitioner's land and they are trying to convert their Nanjai lands into Punjai lands for forming housing sites and trying to block the irrigation canal flowing to the petitioner's land, which affects the agricultural work of the petitioner. Hence the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent and the same was forwarded to the second respondent vide Na.Ka.5872/2021/Uu3 on 28.09.2021 with a direction to take immediate action. However the same was not considered till date. Hence this petition.

3. Since no adverse orders is passed against the private respondents notice to private respondents dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to 2/4

consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2020, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the above, this Court directs directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2020 and take action against the communication passed by the second respondent vide Na.Ka.5872/2021/Uu3 on 28.09.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the counter parties, if any.

7. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
