Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 08.11.2019. He further submitted that this Court taking into consideration the previous cases pending as against the petitioner and also considering the long incarceration, had directed the learned trial Judge, who is to take charge shall take every effort to complete the trial on day to day basis and deliver the judgment within a period of six weeks from the date on which he assumes charge, vide order dated 19.09.2022. He also submitted the despite the dismissal of the petition, no trial judge has been appointed so far to the particular Court, thereby, he seeks permission to transfer the case from the file of the learned Special Judge, EC Act Cases, Salem to some other Court.
2. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this petition, he prayed that liberty may be given to the petitioner to move the appropriate petition to transfer the case to some other Court and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
