ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by The Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the Tahsildar, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kanchipuram District/fourth respondent herein to take proper legal action against the sixth respondent, who has put up non-vegetarian shop illegally in a Government land situated at Kancheepuram District Uthiramerur Taluk, Thiruamerur Village No.46, Old Survey No.878/208, New Survey No.1721/33, to an extent of 0.166 sq.ft. by constructing Iron Roof building.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the sixth respondent is running a non-vegetarian shop in a Government land situated at New Survey No.1721/33, Old Survey No.878/208, having an extent of 0.166 sq.ft., Uthiraverur Village, Kanchipuram District, by constructing an Iron Roof building and therefore, a direction may be given to the authorities to remove the said encroachment.
3. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, accepting notice for the respondents, submitted that the land in question is a Grama Natham and therefore, the grievance of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 2/4
4. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the official respondents to consider grievance of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
