The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.473 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 417, 420 of IPC r/w Section 15 and 15(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is not at all qualified for giving any treatment, had treated the wife of the petitioner and subsequently, she also died.

3. It is stated by the learned Government Advocate that the death was due to the treatment given by the petitioner. 4.Taking into consideration the seriousness of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 05.10.2023 vkr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
