ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.232 of 2025 dated 30.04.2025 on the file of the respondent.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she had preferred a complaint before the respondent and the same has been registered in Crime No.232 of 2025 for the offences under section 406 and 420 of IPC and Section 5 of Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors [in Financial Establishment] Act 1997. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the First Information Report has been registered, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, seeks a direction to the respondent to complete investigation and file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the First Information Report has been registered very recently and the investigation is in progress.

4. As the First Information Report has been registered very recently, the prosecution has to take its own time and investigate the matter. Hence, there cannot be any direction in this regard.
