The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.07.2025, in connection with the suicide of his wife. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and filed a detailed counter stating that a few more witnesses are to be examined and the report of the RDO clearly indicates that the victim had committed suicide due to dowry harassment. He further submitted that two more accused are still absconding.

3. In view of the objections raised by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
