The petitioner herein seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.427 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) of IPC.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that, he has been falsely implicated in this case. For an occurrence which had taken place on 09.08.2023, the first information report was registered by the respondent police only on 22.08.2023, after a considerable delay. Apprehending arrest from the respondent police, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

3. It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that, there was another lady involved in this matter. Petitioner had attacked the defacto complainant with knife, resulting wounds in her face and nose. It is further stated that, even after the defacto complainant fell down, the petitioner had continued to stab her, causing further injuries. Thus, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

4. In view of the nature of the injuries and the manner in which, the offences have been committed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
