This petition has been filed to call for the summons issued by the respondent in Letter No.Na.Ka.2356/2016/A1 on the file of the first respondent dated 02.12.2016, and to quash the same. 2.

The petitioner filed this petition to challenge the summons issued against him under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. The said summons was issued in the month of December, 2016. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year.
