.. Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceedings issued by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No. 544/2016 dated 5.2.2016 and to quash the same.

O R D E R

The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the impugned charge memo issued to the writ petitioner had been withdrawn by the respondents. Thus, the writ petition needs no further consideration.

2. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the third respondent, states that a charge memo was withdrawn on the ground of jurisdiction and therefore, the competent authority may be permitted to proceed with the charge memo in accordance with law. It is needless to state that if the impugned charge memo has been withdrawn based on the point of jurisdiction, then the competent authority is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
