These writ petitions are filed by A.Santhosh kumar and A.Rajamanickam, seeking writ of mandamus forbearing the respondent from appointing anyone to the post of Junior Inspector of Sericulture in pursuance of the interview conducted from 18.2.2016 to 20.2.2016 and further direct the respondent to publish the answer key and the results for the written
examination conducted on 07.02.2016 for the post of Junior Inspector of Sericulture and thereby follow the procedure established by law in the process of recruitment for the said post.
2. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners made a request to the Court that a direction may be issued to the respondents not to proceed with the selection process without declaring the results of the written examination.

In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondent submitted that the respondents would declare the results of all the candidate with marks scored by them both in the written examination as well as in the interview within two days. The learned Special Government Pleader further submitted that if the petitioners are aggrieved with regard to the allocation of marks, they can make a written representation within ten days before the respondent for revaluation of their papers and on such request being made, the same will be duly considered by the respondent in the presence of the petitioners.

In view of the said submission, the petitioners are directed to make written representation to the respondents for revaluation of paper within a period of ten days from the date of declaring results by the respondent, if they are aggrieved against the marks allotted to them by the respondent. On such representation being made, the respondent shall consider the same in the presence of the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. It is needless to mention that in case any representation has been made by the petitioners and the respondent found that they have secured higher marks than the other candidates, the same shall be taken into account by the respondent.
The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
