[ RESPONDENTS ] Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated purusuant to the notice in Na.Ka. A4/429/2015 dated 12/02/2015 for the disbursement of compensation determined and payable to the lands in Survey Nos. 51/4E2, 51/4G, 51/6F, 53/8A, 53/9B, 51/4F2 and 53/7A1 of Valajanagaram Village, Ariyalur Taluk and Ariyalur District as per the award passed by the first respondent in Award No. 17/2007(2/07 Arl) dated 31.12.2007. Heard Mr.S.Kamadevan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, accepting notice on behalf of respondents 1, 3 & 4 and Mr.B.Vevekavanan, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice for the second respondent. By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated pursuant to the proceedings dated 12.02.2015, for disbursement of compensation determined and payable to the lands https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Survey Nos. 51/4E2, 51/4G, 51/6F, 53/8A, 53/9B, 51/4F2 and 53/7A1 of Valajanagaram Village, Ariyalur Taluk and Ariyalur District, as per the award passed by the first respondent in Award No. 17/2007(2/07 Arl) dated 31.12.2007. 3.The petitioner would state that though the second respondent directed the parties to appear on 19.02.2015 at 3 p.m. in his Office and he has perused the documents, till date no final order has been passed.

4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings, if there is no other legal impediment and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
