Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st respondent Police not to harass the Petitioner and allow the petitioner for his brother death rites today and tomorrow.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1/4

respondents states that interrogation of the petitioner is not required and therefore, the allegation is that the respondent police disturbing the petitioner at odd hours under the garb of investigation is not true.

2. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that on 25.09.2023 at about 3.00 a.m. early in the morning and took him for an enquiry and kept in the police station till 1.00 p.m.

3. Since the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) now reports that the presence of the petitioner is no more required in the case registered by the respondent police, the same is recorded and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
