PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with the proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No.6967/2006-1/Oo3 and Na.Ka.No.6967/2006-1/Oo2 dated 17.06.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 04.08.2022. 1/4

ORDER

With the consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to quash the proceedings dated 17.06.2022 passed by the second respondent and to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 04.08.2022.

3. Though the petitioner had sought for quashing of the order of punishment, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he would be satisfied if the petitioner's appeal is considered within a stipulated time.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to 2/4

dispose of the petitioner's appeal petition dated 04.08.2022, if not already disposed of, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
