When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it is noticed that no case has been registered under Section 106(2) of BNS as against the petitioner and the FIR has been registered for the offences under Sections 281 and 125(b) of BNS which was altered into 106(1). All the above said offences are bailable in nature and therefore, the question of granting anticipatory bail will not arise. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is not maintainable.

Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

The petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
