ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 311, 351(3) of BNS Act in Crime No. 405 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had waylaid the de facto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.750/- from him at knife point. Hence, the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed on him. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner had waylaid the defacto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.750 /- from him at knife point. He also submitted that there are ten previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and also considering the fact that ten previous cases were pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
