This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 25.04.2024 passed in W.P.No.19707 of 2021, whereby this Court directed the respondents to pay family pension to the petitioner with effect from 23.02.2021 together with arrears.

When the matter was taken up for consideration on last occasion, on 21.12.2024, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the proceedings vide PRO.No.3233/SE/KEDC/ADM3/A2/F.06(07)/2024, dated 02.12.2024, has been issued by the respondent No.2 sanctioning family pension in favour of the petitioner with effect from 24.02.2021. However, it is reported that no amount has been credited to the Bank account of the petitioner. 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the arrears of pension has been deposited to the credit of the petitioner on 30.12.2024. It is further represented by Mr.David Sundar Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the monthly family pension would be credited to the Bank account of the petitioner regularly hereafter. In view of the same, it is evident that the order passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondents. 4.

In view of the same, the contempt petition is closed. 2/4
