O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner representation dated 05.07.2024 sent for restoring the electricity service connection No.332-004-847 for his house situate in R.S.No.548 Olagadam Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 05.07.2024 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the electricity connection has already been disconnected and he has to challenge the order of disconnection. Without doing so, filing the present writ petition is not maintainable.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

5. On perusal of the affidavit, it is seen that the petitioner himself admitted that the electricity connection has been disconnected. In such background, there is no question to consider the representation of the petitioner. If at all the petitioner aggrieved, he has to challenge the order of disconnection.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. 24.10.2024 rli To The Junior Engineer, TANGEDCO, Olagadam, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.
