ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2016 for appointment to a suitable post on compassionate grounds.

2.The petitioner's father K.Venkatasubramanian, who was working as a Firka Surveyor under the third respondent at Thirukazhukundram, expired on 09.01.2008, while in service. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner have passed B.E. Computer Science and M.Tech. Information Technology.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given representation dated 12.01.2016 for appointment to a suitable post on compassionate grounds, no order has been passed till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
