O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue a)Degree certificate and b) Course completion for B.L.I.Sc (Bachelor of Library and Information Science) UG Degree course which was successfully completed by the petitioner in May 2012 itself.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he was admitted in B.L.I.Sc UG degree course in the calendar year 2011-2012 in the respondent University.

The petitioner completed his examinations and obtained first class. At the time of paying the examination fees for writing the examination, the petitioner paid the required fees for Marks statement, Provisional certificate, Degree certificate and Course completion certificate, after completing the examination, he received only the marks statement and provisional certificate. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he successfully passed the examinations in May 2012 itself, the respondent did not come forward to issue the Degree Certificate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the Course Completion Certificate. The petitioner contacted the respondent, number of times over phone and requested him to issue the above mentioned certificates. But even after one year and five months, the respondent has not come forward to issue the above mentioned certificates. Hence the petitioner sent a representation on 03.09.2015 requesting the respondent to take immediate steps to send the Degree Certificate and the Course Completion Certificate in respect of his UG decree B.L.I.Sc. Though the same was received by the respondent on 08.09.2015, till date, there is no response whatsoever from the respondent. Hence, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 4.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to give fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on considering the same, the respondent shall pass appropriate orders with regard to the issuance of Degree Certificate and the Course Completion Certificate, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
