Today, when the appeals were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned senior counsel for the respondents 3, 4 and 5 submitted that the parties have entered into a settlement with regard to the dispute between them and a memo of compromise dated 12.04.2023 signed by them, has also been filed to that effect. 2.On the other hand, the learned Additional Government Pleader 2/4

(Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that certain other issues are pending consideration in the appeals, to which, the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned Senior Counsel for the respondents 3, 4 & 5, in unison, submitted that the compromise now entered into between the parties, is in no way connected with the same. 3.In view of the subsequent development as referred to above, these original side appeals are disposed of, in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties. The aforesaid joint memo of compromise dated 12.04.2023 shall form part of this decree. However, the respondent authorities are at liberty to redress their grievances in the manner known to law.
