With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2015 on merits pending before him in Na.Ka.No.607 of 2016 dated 14.12.2015.

3.The petitioner purchased 1.17acres of land from the legal heirs of one Ramasamy Gounder i.e, respondents 3 to 11 herein through a registered document No.1391 of 1997, thereafter the patta was transferred in favour of the petitioner and the vendors name was also continued in the patta. The petitioner made representation to the second respondent to remove the name of the vendors and the second respondent after conducting enquiry removed the name of the vendors. As against the same, the respondents 3 to 11 preferred an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur. The RDO after enquiry remitted back the matter to second respondent for re-enquiry. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 14.12.

2015, but the first respondent without numbering the appeal, kept it pending for long time and after several request the same is numbered as Na.Ka.No.607 of 2016. 4.In the meanwhile, the petitioner filed a petition in O.Mu.No.14218/2015/11 before the first respondent. On 12.11.2015, the first respondent send a notice to produce the order of the second respondent. But till date there is no improvement in the proceedings.

5.Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 14.12.2015 and petition in O.Mu.No.14218/2015/11 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 3 to 11 and necessary parties, if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioner.

7.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
