The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to implement the revision of seniority of the petitioner with Executive Officer Grade-I from the year 2002-03 and Selection Grade Executive Officer from the year 2006-07 as per State wide seniority released as per the proceedings of second respondent in Na.Ka.No.6793/2009/A7 dated 12.07.2013 with corresponding fixation of salary and retirement benefits including granting of promotion on par with junior https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
P.Sadasivam and other attendant benefits with payment of arrears of salary, by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 06.08.2015.
2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that although the final seniority list dated 12.07.2013, has been released in favour of the petitioner by the Director of Town Panchayats, Kuralagam/the second respondent herein, the monetary benefits have not been given to him, on par with his junior P.Sadasivam. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.08.2015. But, till date the same has not been considered.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 06.08.2015, given by the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
