O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, though has prayed for quashing of the impugned order dated 16.02.2016 permitting the seventh respondent to hold a meeting at VGP Ground, Urapakkam, he confines his relief to making adequate arrangements in order to prevent a situation akin to what happened in 2013. 2.On hearing the learned counsel for parties, we are of the view that in such matters of law and order, the issue should be left to the police authorities to take due care to ensure that there is no breach of law and order nor destruction of private or public property. It is for the authorities to provide requisite conditions and ensure those conditions are adhered to. In fact, in the present case, it is stated that conditions have already been specified.

But the issue would be of implementation of the conditions and cancellation of permission in case there is any violation of those conditions. We would expect respondent no.7 to conduct the meeting with all maturity and public responsibility.
