O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to defreeze the Yes bank accounts numbered 010383900002034 and 010384600004440, Parrys Branch which stands in the name of the petitioner .

2. The petitioner is running a company which is dealing with food products ( Fruits and Vegetables) Exports and coal trading business. While so, on 28.07.2025 the petitioner received an email from Yes Bank stating that both personal and business accounts were frozen based on a communication from the Police Department. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that investigation has not revealed any transfer of the alleged crime proceeds into the petitioner's account. However, if the petitioner gives a proper explanation, they will consider the same and take appropriate steps to

defreeze the accounts.

4. In such view of the matter, the petitioner can give explanation within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
