Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his appeal petition dated 06.04.2022 filed against the order of removal from service dated 16.03.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and set aside the order of removal from service dated 16.03.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with consequential service benefits. ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Dr.T. Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief.

4. The petitioner has filed a statutory appeal against his dismissal order before the 1st respondent on 06.04.2022. He has been removed from service by the order dated 16.03.2022. Aggrieved by the same, he has preferred the statutory appeal before the 1st respondent. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of the said statutory appeal.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's appeal dated 06.04.2022 is disposed of, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's appeal, dated 06.04.2022 on merits 2/4

and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
