This Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 3348 days in filing the appeal against the Judgment and Decree passed in LAOP.No.501 of 2013, dated 28.03.2014 on the file of the Special Sub Court for LAOP cases, Cuddalore.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the Respondents.

3.Even though sufficient time was granted, no counter affidavit was filed on behalf of the Respondents.

4.Taking into consideration the reasons assigned by the Petitioners in the affidavit filed in support of this Petition, I am inclined to order this Petition on a condition.

5.Accordingly, this Petition is ordered on condition that the Petitioners are not entitled for any interest for the delay period of 3348 days on the compensation amount as well as solatium.
