(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner claims that the Gangai Amman Koil Main Road, Iyyappanthangal, which, as per plans, has to be 40 feet wide, is now reduced to a width of 15 to 20 feet in different areas due to encroachment by houses built on either side. Not only that, due to construction of storm water drainage system, the street has been further narrowed and even vehicles are parked. He seeks restoration of the road to its original position and has made a representation on 12.10.2015 to the Collector. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.On hearing the learned counsel for parties, we direct the respondent / Collector to look into the representation of the petitioner and take a decision on the same within a maximum period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order with notice to all concerned by a speaking order. 3.Writ Petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.
