O R D E R
The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS Act, in Crime No.144 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner herein, along with one Akash, trespassed into the house of the de facto complainant in search of the complainant's brother. They attacked the de facto complainant with an iron rod and a knife, causing grievous injuries. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the injured victim has been treated as an in-patient. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reiterated the prosecution case and he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/5
He further submitted that the petitioner is absconding.
5. Considering the nature of the offence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
