O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the statutory appeal submitted by him to the respondent dated 15.09.2015 against the punishment imposed on him by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kanchipuram Range, Kanchipuram in Na.Ka.No.B2/4370/2015 PR No.PR15/Traffic/PR/2013 dated 24.08.2015, within a reasonable time.

2.Heard Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.Considering the limited prayer that the appeal filed by the petitioner, has not been disposed of till date, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the pending appeal dated 15.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
