Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to furnish the copy of the documents Viz. pertaining to the petitioners said land and the Waqf board letters, sought for by the petitioner before the 5th respondent vide the petitioner's RTl application dated 01.12.2023. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to furnish the copy of the documents, viz. pertaining to the petitioner's land and the Waqf board letters, sought for by the petitioner before the 5th respondent vide the petitioner's RTl application

dated 01.12.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner was returned without being numbered.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that so far no communication was received regarding the return of the appeal.

5. In view of the above, if the appeal is returned, the petitioner is at liberty to re-present the same within two week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the re-presented appeal, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the same, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
