ORDER
The petition for anticipatory bail alleging that the respondent Police is trying to arrest him on the complaint registered in C.S.R.No.614 of 2025. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent Police states that a complaint petition was received by the respondent Police, alleging that the petitioner had damaged the car of the defacto-complainant and the cost of repair is about Rs.18,000/-. The petition was given for recovery of the said amount. When the petitioner was
called for enquiry, he has evaded participation in the enquiry. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he twice attended the enquiry. However, the respondent Police pressurising him to give cheque for Rs.3,00,000/-. 4.Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials on record. 5.This Court on perusing the record, finds that the apprehension shown by the petitioner is unfounded. Hence, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police on receipt of the summons and participate in the enquiry. The respondent Police shall complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.614 of 2025 within a period of three weeks from today. Till then, there shall be no coercive action against the petitioner. If the outcome of the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, the respondent shall be at liberty to register the First Information Report and proceed further. 13-08-2025 ep
