ORDER

The petitioner herein apprehending arrest by the respondent Police in Cr.No.324 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 8 (c) and 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act, is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 2kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that there is no recovery from the petitioner. However, he had been arrayed as an accused A4, based on the confession statement given by A1. Hence, prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) states that on 09.05.2025, three persons were apprehended for possession of 2kgs of Ganja. On their secret information, the Police had come to know that this petitioner is the supplier of the contraband. The petitioner is absconding and continuing his activity of supplying contraband for various peddlers . He also submits that after completion of enquiry, final report shall be filed showing this petitioner as an absconding accused.

5.Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials on record. 6.Considering the fact that the petitioner is evading arrest and material collected indicates that he is the supplier of the Ganja which was seized by the Police in this case, this Court is not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail petition, on the ground that no contrabands seized from his possession. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 13-08-2025 ep
