The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in Crime No.19 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 354(D), 376, 506(i) of IPC and Section 67 of Information Technology Act. 2.There is also a second accused. A1 had physical relationship with the defacto complainant.

3.A perusal of the FIR would show that A1 has given her what he called as medicine which was actually a drug and thereafter, sexually ravished her.

4.It is also stated that he promised to marry her. A1 has been taken into custody and is still in custody.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioners stated that the petitioners are senior citizens and parents of A1. They are totally ignorant of the entire issue and they do not know the defacto complainant.

6. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the allegation, deep investigation is required. Moreover, the photographs of the defacto complainant, which have been taken by A1, will have to be recovered. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
