The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 316(2) of BNS, 2023, (Section 406 IPC) in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, 1/4
seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that pursuant to the direction of the Magistrate, petition enquiry is pending against the petitioner. If the petitioner participate in the enquiry, the respondent police will proceed based on the outcome of the enquiry.
3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed directing the petitioner herein to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summon. The respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of 15 days.
