O R D E R

It is the claim of the petitioner that his father viz., Arumugam was worked as Village Assistant in a temporary capacity and on account of his illness, the petitioner was also appointed temporarily and got experienced and subsequently, the petitioner attended the interview for selection to five posts of Village Administrative Officer during January 2016. Despite his best performance, he has not been communicated the result of the selection and therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.

2. Mr.D.Nagarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the interview was over during January 2016, the petitioner is yet to be communicated with the result of the selection and therefore, prays for appropriate orders.

3. Per contra, Mr.K.Dhananjayan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents and would submit that the petitioner is not having any vested legal right to demand result of the selection and prays for dismissal of the writ petition.

4. This Court has carefully considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials before it.

5. This Court taking into considering the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the third respondent expressing his grievance as to the non selection, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the third respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : No 20.12.2016 vsm To 1.The District Collector, Office of the Collectorate, Villupuram.
