Mr.P.Anandakumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R1 to R4 and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this matter, even at the stage of admission. No notice is necessary to R5, in light of the order that is proposed to be passed now.
2.The petitioner claims to be handicapped and he seeks a mandamus directing the second respondent/the Dean, Government Medical College Hospital, Namakkal to permit him to establish an Aavin Stall in the new complex of the Government Medical College Hospital at Namakkal. He has, infact, made an identical request in his representation dated 30.08.2023, which is placed as a part of the compilation accompanying the writ affidavit, page Nos.32 to 35 containing the acknowledgements of receipt of the representation by the respondents.
3.Mr.P.Anandakumar would submit that mandamus may be issued as prayed for and the representation will be disposed of in accordance with law.
Thus, mandamus is issued to R2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2023 after hearing him and in accordance with law as well as all relevant regulations within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
