ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2015 and to settle the interest amount from the date of retirement.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Then, he was suspended from service and subsequently, the suspension order was revoked on the ground that a criminal case registered as against the petitioner was quashed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No.10745 of 2011. Thereafter, the petitioner was retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2011. The petitioner gave representation on 07.11.2015 to the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

requesting to sanction and pay all terminal benefits including the period of suspension. But, no order has been passed till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
