By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Karnam Assistant on 24.04.1990. Subsequently, his service was regularised and promoted as Bill Collector Gr-II and he retired from service on 30.09.2015 on attaining the age of superannuation. However, the third respondent has not settled the entire retirement benefits and pension benefits.
Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 02.12.2015. Since, no order has been passed, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Senior counsel for M/s.B.Baskaran appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
